How These Machines Work Together

A knit mill runs as a tightly sequenced production line. Each machine at each stage relies on the quality output of the one before it. Texlink helps you design, source, and integrate the complete line, not just individual equipment.

Texlink offers line consultancy. Not sure which machines fit your capacity target? Our engineers will help you plan the right machine count, sizes, and specifications before you commit to a single purchase order.

Speak To An Engineer
1

Circular Knitting

Yarn is fed into circular knitting machines, where rotating needles form a continuous tube of fabric stitch by stitch. The machine's gauge, diameter and configuration determine the fabric type and output.

2

Dyeing

Greige fabric is loaded into the dyeing machine, where controlled temperature, liquor flow and dosing bring it to the exact shade required, batch after batch.

3

Tensionless Drying

Knits stretch easily when wet. The tensionless dryer removes moisture without pulling the fabric, protecting its dimensions, elasticity and soft hand-feel.

4

Slitting, Compacting & Heat Setting

Tubular fabric is either slit open along its length for open-width finishing, or compacted in tubular form to control shrinkage and set the final width. Heat setting stabilises spandex and synthetic blends.

Surface Finishing

For fleece and premium fabrics, raising machines lift the fibres to create a warm brushed surface, shearing machines trim the pile to an even height, and polishing machines give a smooth, lustrous finish.

Folding & Dispatch

Finished fabric is folded into uniform layers and stapled, ready for storage, cutting rooms or shipment to customers.
